30 Mins & Strides

LOAD: 13

30 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Sometimes a 30 minute shake out can help recovery or just give you some much needed head space. Keep it easy. Strides are crucial here.

Respecting the challenge ahead with The Amble by keeping the rest of the week easy. As mentioned if you ditched Hyrox a third run would be ok.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

I was meant to run yesterday evening but on my last day of work for two weeks I was chucked a massive project to get done before I go. I was sat at my desk til nearly 10 at night so I felt very very stiff this morning. It took me a bit of time before I loosened up, I was also up later than I wanted which meant that there was more runners out and I always feel a bit more of a fraud – I don’t know why lol. But I got it done and actually helped just to wake me up and clear my head a bit, particularly as despite it being my day off I’m having to work today to get it done 😔

I guess at least you have 2 weeks off coming up but that work sounds brutal. And let’s get rid of this fraud nonsense please. Less of that. There’s no such thing. Be proud of your running. And well done Kelly. Hopefully you can unwind a little bit now.
