Fancied PR Today with people instead of the bike ride on my own. Had a good chat with a young lad from Yaxley. We accidentally caught up a lady from Yaxley who was trying to get under 26 mins. Me and Alex then end up pushing her along and she then had a sprint finish for 25:02. She was so happy with herself and thanked us. So possibly a little fast today but for a good cause.

That’s so nice to hear that you helped someone else achieve the time they wanted. More than happy with this to be honest. Similar training effect running an easy parkrun to 60 mins on the bike. Albeit working the legs that bit harder because of the impact.
