Felt a bit pants for 5 mins then a little off road and I was back in my element. Had to keep reminding myself to slow down as it just seemed too easy. 9 stride’s (lost count the right way today 🀣) even they felt good. Off to have my last pint with lunch until after the race

Perfect. Just what we wanted a week out from the race. We’ve done everything we can from a physical point of view, but I would say is that how we approach this week mentally can make a difference. So keep any thoughts positive as the days tick by.
