60 Min Easy Run

LOAD: 150

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

PACE

Ran with Debbie. Full of cold so was surprised how relaxed and good I felt. Cadence poor. When i study the pace chart I can see how my pace picks up once I have warmed up my legs. Show me the importance when racing to do a good warm up.

It is extremely important, but also key that when you do a run, even an easy run like this, that you allow for the first mile, to be extra slow. Never judge that first mile, the slower the better almost and then you can pick up the pace. Also don’t worry too much about cadence on these ones, we can work on that in the speed sessions. Well done Sue. Nice to see you running with Debbie as well.
