🙄 Just a fraction slow

Wasn’t the most comfortable of runs but a lot better than Weds. I’ve waited until the next day to give my feedback as I wanted to see what the foot was like. It’s painful but better than Thursday, I can weight bear today albeit with a bit of a hobble this morning. Also have slight swelling round the back of the heel/ Achilles but I think this level is a workable pain for now. I’ll just moan a lot & hope it goes away 😩

I’d like to think there is a physio out there somewhere who has just said to a client “go home, moan a lot and cross your fingers” 😂 As boring as it might sound, if it were me, I’d do one or two runs around some playing fields on the grass, tedious I know but it’s a strategy that has worked a treat in the past for me. If you ever beat 3 hours around Sedlescombe playing field I’d be impressed. Also very good mental training too, as it really tests your will power to keep going when the sane thing to do is stop and go and do something far more interesting.
