60 Min Easy Run

LOAD: 15

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

Nothing too hard! Made sure I was hydrating and enjoyed the breaks! Always nice to see everyone! Might have gone abit fast on some reps but enjoyed it!

I’ll be honest, as I’d feel annoyed at myself if I didn’t say something now and you picked up an injury. Sandwiching this (RPE: 6) in between two track sessions is a bad idea, poor planning and far from ideal scheduling. I wouldn’t be doing my job if I just said “well done Jack, yeah this is fine”. I think sometimes we do have to make sacrifices and miss out on sessions we would like to run for the long term plan. Something definitely to think about, but this current routine, that is in place this week does leave me a bit uncomfortable, mainly because my sole purpose is keeping you injury free and running at your best. So don’t see this as personal criticism but more advice because I really give a shit about your running and your progression.
