60 Min Easy Run

LOAD: 150

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

Definitely keep this one super easy, with a couple of tough days coming up.

Thought I’d plan another route out, I’m quite enjoying finding new footpaths. This time however I went on my own! Managed not to get lost which is a bonus. There was a couple of really tough hills that I really struggled with my right ankle seemed to really flare up and I ended up walking those. I had really stiff calves as well but I think that due to wearing heels for the first time in ages today and not stretching beforehand. Overall though I enjoyed that.

The trails are great right now. I loved being out there Wednesday and Guestling Woods was cool, although got a bit lost from there, so might have to find somewhere new to start the run. Walking is fine if the hills are really challenging so don’t see that as a negative. It might be worth trying to find 5-10 mins before your runs now just to loosen up. Just ask if you want a warm up routine and I can put something together for you.
