Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁

If you said to me, I’d much rather do efforts Tuesday evening in the park with the gang, then we can switch, but I’m just wary of overdoing things with Rye 10 being such a tough race on Sunday.

Done. Legs are struggling but like you say … concentrate on form! So I tried to do that instead. 😀

That’s great to hear. Really well done Philippa. Sorry to hear about the legs. I think we all go through these spells at times and hopefully come Sunday you’ll feel well rested. Focusing on form when running is no different to body scan in mindfulness, so it’s such a powerful mental tool.
