60 Mins Easy-MP

LOAD: 24

20 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)
20 Mins @ Steady Pace (RPE: 3)
20 Mins @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 4)

Rather than just head out and do 60 mins easy, this goes through the gears a little and will hopefully help you improve running economy as the speed picks up a little. It’s still a light session but makes the easy runs more interesting. Best done on the flat to hit consistent paces.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

Well the wind made this not that pleasurable tbh made each mile abit quick rather than sticking to set paces the last 15min was the worst straight into the wind at pace, the last split would have been quicker but I had to stop to give some abuse to an idiot dog owner and a extendable lead. I wasnt happy but it was right at the end so didn’t disrupt me to much but I forgot to stop my watch.

Well done Steve, if you can try and plan these so the wind is favourable for the toughest sections. It’s a little bit of a cheat mode, but we do this for fun right, so makes sense. We really have to have our wits about us when it comes to dogs and bikes. So far I’ve managed to avoid an incident, touch wood.
