60 Mins & Strides

LOAD: 22

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Best done in a group!! Keep the RPE down, so you should be able to chat. Don’t forget those strides. They are very important. Enjoy.

Run was fine, too hot as I was in my waterproof “breathable” jacket (lol) just when it was the driest and hottest part of the day – ha! Legs pretty sore from last night so when I got home I felt that strides would be a bad idea, got some niggles in my hams and to the side of one tib (weird). I did double strides last week, so hopefully I’m not in too much trouble.

You are forgiven, smart thing to do to leave them out. I did the opposite. Went out in my summer gear and ran in the monsoon, still, reckon it would have been too hot for a jacket. Leading tonight and a little confused as how to dress 🤷‍♂️ Well done for getting this done though, must have sweated out some toxins no doubt. Trail shoes look a given now. Lindsey bought the Terrex one you’ve got, I’ll stick with my cheese grater bricks.
