I tried the pace down to 7minutes /km and it was hard to go so slow but enjoyable in the sunshine. Then the pace of the stride was much faster than usual and I felt quite relaxed as well.

Yeah there’s no real need to slow down to that pace in truth. The best thing you can do with an easy run is just ignore the watch, or least the pace, run completely to feel, making sure it feels like 3/10 effort or less. Some days that might be 6:30 per km, other days it might even be 5:20 per km. As long as you keen the RPE down that’s the most important thing. Well done on the strides as well.
