BRT Wednesday sessions are great and highly recommend them. A good alternative to track or the Tuesday session. Work hard to make gains.

This was a good session, and felt strong. After a short group warm up, it was a “continuous” loop of 800m hard followed by 400m active recovery. The continuous is in quotes as there was a small stop (~ 30s) to get a sip of water after the 400s. I completed 7 loops, with the 800s all around the 4min/km mark or a touch under, with final one being the quickest.

This is huge. To cover that distance at that pace is really promising. Just a matter of getting the right conditions and that sub 20 5k is coming. I feel like you’re very close to that at the moment. Well done Jamie.
