60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Keep the effort level to around 3 or 4 on the RPE scale. Focus on good form and don’t get lazy. Often the best run of the week 😁 Do those Strides (or else)

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Hard getting up and getting out the door when everyone is still sleeping but it’s made worth while with a beautiful quiet run. Legs felt heavy and glute sore from yesterday strength. Strides a bit slower than target 😬 sorry didn’t realise till after.

Well done Lou. You’re getting out there which is the most important thing. I wouldn’t fret too much about the pace of the Strides. If you’ve focusing and practicing good form, then that’s more important than pace. I’d rather you run a slower, working on the right things, than run fast but with poor form.
