60 Mins & Strides

LOAD: 22

60 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2-3)

8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)
60 Second Recoveries

Best done in a group!! Keep the RPE down, so you should be able to chat. Don’t forget those strides. They are very important. Enjoy.

Easy miles this week to give you more recovered from the Amble, just a lot of them. Sorry.

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

I was really ready to pass this run over to another coach because not feeling great but it was good. Got the pacing just right for the group and completed my strides! Feeling ill again now but really chuffed to get it done. Strange thing after the Amble on Sunday, I was able to pull my right knee straight back in a stretch without any problem this evening for the first time in probably 18 months. Those killer hills obviously have some benefit.
Jo Edwards
Well done Jo and thanks for leading. Always appreciated. That’s a positive sign about the knee and hopefully suggests you’re getting stronger and more flexible. Sunday should be a real confidence boost for you because you now know you can keep going for long enough in those tough events coming up.
