60 Mins Easy-MP

LOAD: 24

20 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)
20 Mins @ Steady Pace (RPE: 3)
20 Mins @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 4)

Rather than just head out and do 60 mins easy, this goes through the gears a little and will hopefully help you improve running economy as the speed picks up a little. It’s still a light session but makes the easy runs more interesting. Best done on the flat to hit consistent paces.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😬 Too fast

PACE

Knocked out a block of 12km steady averaged around 3:59km – probably got a little bit to carried away towards the end to be truly steady but this pace feels comfortable and feel like it really give a nice boost to the fitness and the strength endurance for the 1/2.

I did initially see that session and think what’s he up too 😂 But then remember I had set this session, so not a massive difference in terms of pts and again a nice boost ahead of the half and shows how strong you are running right now.
