That was a good run after a long day at work! The change to 30s strides from 100m was interesting (in a good way 😁) – the extra distance made them feel mechanically more “stridey” than sprint, with a longer float and a few seconds ease back to finish.

I’ll be totally honest and hold my hands up here, that was a mistake on my part to change the strides. I experimented with it a while back and came to the conclusion it was too much. But never changed it on that session. So I apologise for that. Going forward they will be 100 metre reps and only 8 of them, but well done for doing the extra on this occasion and glad it helped you after a long day of work. I think it’s important right now to really embrace just how well you are running. Right at the very peak of your powers at the moment and that’s exciting right? Well done Jamie.
