HY Track Session

LOAD: 30

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

Group session as instructed (RPE: 7-9)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

The good thing about HY is you know you’re likely to be pushed hard. I’ve been once before and really enjoyed it. Lovely group of people.

Bloody hell!! I did skip a couple of reps because it was blazing heat and they said we had to do 10 and I was like I’m not going to make 10 of these at full pace! That was a shock to the system! I’ve been lazy the last two weeks. But I did 6 and an extra 200m they did 8 total. You need a little break and it was like go and then go! Anyway that’s a good pace from me! Partly because I had to try and keep up. I think that’s about my 200m pace isn’t it? Also I did do a warm up just didn’t track and I did some drills not that they bother!

Well done Lou. Yeah great pace. Around 7:30 per mile for you on the 200s or just under is what you are looking for at the moment and I think you averaged that or better for this whole session. The shorter reps will definitely help, sounds like there recoveries were a bit messed up and you should all get the same recovery time really, but never mind. Sounds like an excellent session and one which help you progress.
