20 x 30 Sec Hills

LOAD: 23

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

1 x 30 Second Hill Rep (RPE: 9)
60 Seconds Downhill @ Easy Pace (RPE: 4)
x 20

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Great session as hill reps force you to run with good form, lifting the knees higher and really driving the elbows back. Work hard for the 30 seconds uphill, recovery back down for 60 seconds.

Not going to lie when I first started my warm up my butt and hips were very achy, hasn’t noticed it at all with just walking 😂 yesterday. But once we stretched and warmed up it was al fine. Pleased I came tonight to this session, my legs were feeling a little empty / fatigued still from my effort given Sunday. Always feel like this post a race type run where I really push myself, I just can’t seem to recover like others. I felt I really tried to give my best to every rep and got quicker the more reps in to this. I find these effort sessions really beneficial – thank you.

I think it’s normal to be honest after such a tough race like Sunday, especially for those of you pushing the pace and setting new PBs. I find those areas, hips, glutes etc can be tight, especially for me when I’ve been sitting down all day but a nice easy WU normally does the trick for me. It’s so great coaching you guys on a Tuesday evening because you are all so positive and work hard. It’s great to see. Well done Michelle.
