A really good session and chance to see if you can push the pace and hit 5k pace or a little under. This will test both your speed and endurance. The challenge is made tougher by slightly shorter recoveries.

Simple but effective session. So each rep you want to challenge yourself and see how close to 600 metres you can get in the 3 mins. Don’t worry if you fall a little short, but perhaps towards the end, see if you can hit that target. These sessions can all be about setting yourself these little challenges to keep you motivated.

Glad you enjoyed it Philippa. I think now matter how fast we are, we all ask those questions. I did my best ever 10k session yesterday averaging 6:35 per mile, yet the thought in my head was, how did Rhys run an entire marathon much quicker than that. Hence why personal goals are so important. You’re doing great though and looking strong right now. Keep it up.
