😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

Steady bike ride with a fellow runner. 18 miles in an hour with an Average HR of 125 bpm. Apart from the wind, enjoyed the catch up. I work for Perkins, Caterpillar. A company which manufacture diesel engines for mainly construction equipment. I have been there 20 years, part of the furniture. I am currently the maintenance manager and look after the leaders and technicians. We are responsible for keeping the assembly, test and finish lines running.

That sounds both impressive and important. Love the fact you’ve been there for 20 years as well and clearly very successful, so respect for that. Good work on the bike ride as well. If we do a little less during the week and then you head into the weekend feeling fresh and keen, I can always add on some extra minutes to the sessions still to come. That’s kinda the way I work. So if we were say 30 mins short of mins during the week (9pts), we can add that on to long run, or make a tempo session a bit more demanding. Hence why the constant feedback is great.
