90 Min Long Run

LOAD: 240

90 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy.

Max 90 mins, if there is any fatigue then cutting short at 60 mins would be fine.

Ran from home down to meet the 9.15 group, which was an experience, had to do a lot of looping and still pause my watch, they are definitely a more social group than run group, but did get some experience of running with a life size panda and snoopy, and people just stopping dead mid run right in front of me, , all good experience for next week I suppose! After they finished I went on moving time on my watch and made it up to seven miles. To make it worse came home and saw the Sunday route and wished I had waited to do that now, typical just thought I bet there won’t be a Sunday run being Easter, but today did make me realise how far I have come along because I can remember joining this group on Good Fridays previously and have found them tough,

😂 I just saw the photos on facebook and obviously as a coach my initial reaction is oh dear. But you know what, everyone was smiling and happy, which is brilliant. It’s nice to do a run like this and as you say, it just shows how far you’ve come that you’re probably too quick for a run like this. As someone that is self employed the whole Easter weekend just passes me by and keep forgetting it’s a bank holiday today and Easter Sunday, never mind. Well done Kayla and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend. Remember, here to chat at any point if you have any questions about London, or a bit of anxiety. Don’t be afraid to ask what might seem silly questions, normally they’re the best ones.
