90 Mins

LOAD: 27

90 Mins @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Keep this nice and easy. Focus on good form & efficient running economy. RPE should be around the 3/10 which means you can run and chat.

Only and only if you’ve recovered in time from The Amble. Perhaps the Tuesday off roaders?

Being that I’m away at the moment and having to leave all the kids when I’m out running, I split this over two days. I have the tiniest most uncomfortable bed and the thought of getting out to run was not calling to me but actually after the first ten minutes I felt the strongest I felt for a while. Even with the blooming wind on both days, I felt good. I was struggling with my breathing just because I was running against the wind but every step wasn’t feeling like torture as it has been for months and months! Maybe I just needed an amble to shake things out or a really tiny uncomfortable bed 😅 Btw I do like doing the feedback. For me it’s a good personal reflection and I actually rely on your comments to put me in my place when I’m on a moan or beating myself up too much.

Really well done for getting the miles in whilst away and sorry to hear about the bed. Sounds pretty awful. But so pleased you felt good out there. I don’t want to lose the feedback, just realised how much I enjoy the engagement too. But I just want to try and make sure everyone on the team does it in some form or other. So that’s why the weekly feedback was introduced. And it means there might be weeks when you are busy and just think, I’ll save that for the end of the week. We’ll see how it goes. I may have just created even more work for myself, but hey ho. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and manage to get some sleep.
