Hastings AC have some really strong runners, so this is a very good session for sub 20 5k athletes. Tuesday’s they normally do longer reps and between 25-30 mins of running.

There was absolutely no way of getting to Hastings because of the road closure. So we went to the polgrove. This separates good runners from great runners. Doing a session and hitting the paces! I was strong on the reps, averaging 5:42 a mile, with the wind, elevation, concrete and avoiding people. This could not have gone much better. Also running on my own and having no one to chase. I’m over the moon with the session! Absolutely destroyed myself but that’s what it’s all about!
