Circuits

Exercising in a group can be more fun. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if unsure on any of the drills and exercise routines.

A nice solid week of training here with all your favourites included. I feel like with the cancellation of the half and the recent hip injury there’s been a bit of a dip, but that’s where it’s now important to stick with it and get back on track, the improvements will follow. Keep being awesome Lou.

Definitely been a dip. Haven’t felt like I can run properly/well but hopefully over that now! Couldn’t make ASPT because of work but had the loveliest Pilates session instead. It really does help with running! All the stretches I think

Pilates is great for runners. Progress is never linear and sometimes we have these spells where we are not at our best. Mine last year was when I focused on the Beachy Head Marathon. Not only did I have a shocking race but I lost all my speed and my parkrun time went from 19:30 – 21:00+. But then if you stick with it, it feels even better when you then get that fitness back. I so much more appreciative of running well right now, because I had 4-6 months last year where I struggled to hit my times. Well done Lou.
