Circuits

Exercising in a group can be more fun. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if unsure on any of the drills and exercise routines.

I would strongly recommend sitting Monday out. Running a half marathon at a decent effort will create a lot of tears to your muscle fibres and you need to let them repair. If you do a bit workout before they have repaired, the risk of injury is so much higher.

I skipped the circuit class as I didn’t want to do anything too heavy on my knee, although it does seem to be ok. I did a 30 mins runners Pilates session which had a lot of core strength exercises.

Good idea and sounds like a sensible replacement. Yeah a bang to the knee can get very stiff and take anywhere between 2-3 weeks to properly heel. They always look very innocuous but hurt much more than you’d think.
