Easy parkrun

LOAD: 60

parkrun @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Always nice to be involved in parkrun but some weeks it’s best to run it easy. Try not to get caught up and run too fast.

Nice and easy this week. Pacers week, so could tuck in with a 25 or 26 group if you wanted.

Wow, that was a busy one today. Took it nice and easy running with Klare which was just as well as it was so congested on the outbound especially along the lower prom. Klare was looking for the 27 minute pacer but I think they were quite a way ahead as we caught a glimpse of him at the turn but we didn’t get anywhere near them on the way back. The finish was so busy I stopped my watch on 27.10 but Parkrun time was 27.57 🤔 I was quite happy to have a gentle one today as we went bike riding yesterday for the first time in over 35 years and subsequently various parts of me are aching somewhat today 😂😂

That is a rather long gap between bike rides and I know what you mean. Saddle sores are not much fun right? That picture of you in the lower prom was crazy. It didn’t even compute to me that it was so rammed behind. Amazing for the town, over 600 runners is just bonkers. Well done for helping Klare as she’s rounding into form nicely at the moment and that little bit of support will make a big difference and help her knock more time of her 5k. Well done Andy.
