Easy parkrun

LOAD: 60

parkrun @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Always nice to be involved in parkrun but some weeks it’s best to run it easy. Try not to get caught up and run too fast.

No worries if you wanted to bring forward the Sunday run and combine it with parkrun.

Had a mile warm up, with some stretching and strides. Sat with Paul. I wanted to match the exact time from last week which I did, I wasn’t phased and no point felt like I was struggling, my heart rate shot up but I believe that’s from running into the wind. Second half just felt like I was cruising! Still can’t get over how short the course is when bottle alleys involved!

Impressive that you achieved Groundhog day. If I’m honest, and I think it’s important to be honest, I’m a little concerned about the extra effort here and with the Segment chasing, but I do what my runners to enjoy themselves too so I’m never going to say “no”. But with MK approaching perhaps leave them off this week 😉 All that said, a great week, fun, loads achieved and you’re in good shape heading into the next marathon.
