Full Body Gym Workout

LOAD: 15

Focus mainly on legs & core. 4-5 leg exercises, 3 core and a couple of upper body exercises would make up a well rounded session. Take advantage of the gym equipment if you can.

So if you have 90 mins on Thursday to hit the gym this would be my recommendation. If any of the weights are too heavy or light, adjust to your current level and let me know. Then I can change them for next week. If any exercise is too difficult just say and I can find a replacement.

Exercise Bike 10 Mins
KettleBell Swings 2 x 10 (6kg)
Farmers Walk 2 x 45s (6kg)
Seated Row 2 x 10 (15kg?)
Russian Twist 2 x 10
Plank 2 x 30s
Ab Crunch 2 x 10 (20kg?)
Glute Bridge 2 x 10
Leg Press 2 x 10 (25kg?)
Calf Raises 2 x 10

Felt really good to have some structure to my gym sessions and felt strong. Kettle bell swings used 10kg as no 6kg but these were manageable Farmers walk 6kg was fine but felt I could have probably managed the 9kg weight but didn’t want to change this time. Seated row 29kg felt good Ab crunch 19kg used Leg press – leg curls 29kg and leg extension 26kg all other exercises felt good and could have probably done another few reps of some of them….. time wise I entered gym at 7:30pm and finished just before 9

Thanks Chrissie, that’s great feedback and I’ve tweaked next weeks sessions to try and find the right level. But sounds like it worked well. Consistency is the key going forward. Really well done.
