Half Marathon Race

LOAD: 66

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

13.1 Miles @ HM Pace (RPE: 5-8)

Stick to your goal pace early on and it should feel easy. Dig deep in those final 5km to achieve your goal.

Henfield Half!!! Excited to see what you can do here. My trusty pace sheet is saying a 1:18, but that would be a flattish road marathon. Add in the stiles and uneven ground and I’m not going to start making predictions. No need to overthink this, the main goal is use it as a prep race for Forest of Dean. Very best of luck Steve. You should go into it with a lot of confidence given how well you are running right now.

Nothing really to say apart from I have found this week hard for multiple reasons. let’s hope next week is a better one.

It’s never going to be smooth sailing the entire way through the plan and the beauty is we always get another chance the next week to go again. And that’s the best way to approach it.
