Half/Marathon 10K Tempo

LOAD: 330

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

5k @ Marathon Pace (RPE: 4)
5k @ Half Marathon Pace (RPE: 6)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A good session to mix up paces. WU & CD very important to slowly build the pace.

The gang are doing hills which I think this close to London just isn’t worth the risk. This is a much more sensible session.

Ran 2k warmup very easy but didn’t log it. Started from Park Run halfway mark but for some reason my watch stopped after a few seconds so I started it again at the azure. I ran the full 10 K but watch only shows 8.6K. I had started at a good pace and still averaged 7.37 per mile so a 1hr 40 half marathon. Did a short cool down and walked up the West Hill steps. More of the same on Sunday

Great job Conal. Decent session this and feels like the right effort level at this stage of the training plan. No need to go crazy.
