The big one!! For most of us at least. Try to have a clear pacing strategy and don’t go off too fast. The early hills will be tough, but if you dig deep and don’t panic, it’s gets easier once you hit the ridge. Go smash it!

Fantastic race! Held back on the hills first half (although possibly could have done with just that touch slower). The seafront headwind was atrocious and didn’t have anyone willing to share the load 😖 Unsurprisingly, pace was lower than planned for the final 3k but despite this I pushed hard and reeled a fair few back with no one coming past me!

Such a fantastic time in those conditions. Every reason to be delighted with this. I was very nervous when you first signed up with me as you were already running really well after London. But I think you’ve kicked on since then and made further improvement which is very exciting. This is further evidence of this and so well deserved for your hard work and commitment to the plan, even when you’ve had a lot going on. Brilliant running Jamie.
