Hastings Half Marathon

LOAD: 66

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

13.1 Miles @ HM Pace (RPE: 6)

The big one!! For most of us at least. Try to have a clear pacing strategy and don’t go off too fast. The early hills will be tough, but if you dig deep and don’t panic, it’s gets easier once you hit the ridge. Go smash it!

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Thanks Simon. I did 1:45 last year and have felt things trailing off a little with pace/stamina since March 2024. Was hoping to go under 1:50 but it’s definitely a target to beat in March 2026.

How did it go? I thought you ran a pretty decent time? Obviously very early in the plan to be making judgements about the fitness etc, but the fact you’re already able to do a decent time and the training is just starting is a very good sign. Well done Glenn.
