Should include around 4-5 leg exercises. Squats, lunges, calf raises and a hinge exercise are important. Also 2-3 core exercises and both push & pull upper body exercises.

Got into the gym this afternoon. Stuck to what I know. Back and glute have been a bit sore after a full on week last week so might be a good thing I can’t make efforts this week to rest it again. I’ve been slacking a bit with the hot/cold therapy after runs so need to get back on that!

Well done Alice. It’s quite a chore though that hot/cold therapy so I’m not surprised you’ve slacked a bit, so don’t be hard on yourself. But sounds like it might be worth doing it when you can. Hopefully this easier week in terms of the running will really help.
