A mixture of strength work and cardio. Likely to be a good session for any running training plan.

Let me know how this goes and how demanding it is. I’m still not sure how much training effect this will have so learning myself on this one.

Today was tough! I found it a lot harder than last week but I did enjoy it. I did a very easy 5k afterwards, wasn’t in the plan but I know I was a bit short this week so wanted to make it up. Plus see how when I could run after the hyrox considering it is a combination of both! I could run! Just very slowly. I haven’t had chance to do any S&C this week so was good to get something done.

This is good though, the fact you enjoyed it is great. It does have that element of S&C which means you could probably ditch a session in the gym if this was a long term thing. There’s definitely scope for adding it into the plan and I think it works well with what you are trying to achieve with your running. Love the fact you did the extra 5k as well. Thanks for that 😁
