Kent Relays

LOAD: 25

15 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

3 Miles Approx @ 5k Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

I think relays are great training as you are always likely to push yourself that little bit harder when you have team mates to run for. It’s still important to know your own pace and not go off too fast.

If you can squeeze in the strides beforehand that would great. Very best of luck here. Loving the sound of a post race picnic.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

😁 Good pace given the conditions/route

PACE

WU/CD= 2.70mi. Canterbury relay ran first leg, super tight on very narrow paths making overtaking difficult. As a team we decided not to go balls deep as we basically had second place which was music to my ears as still a bit cautious with the hamstring. Infact no issues and feels fine! 2.37mi average pace 6:16, HR 161.

I kind of looked at your pace on Strava and worried a little bit, knowing you are capable of quicker. But the feedback makes sense and explains why. Which was perfect given the hamstring not to have to push too hard. Congrats on 2nd place. Hope you enjoyed all the relays. Well done Adam.
