Kings Head Canter

LOAD: 25

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

5km @ 5k Pace (RPE: 8)

2km CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Not really a PB course with kilometres 2, 3 and 4 all gentle uphill before a downhill finish. A great event though with a lovely atmosphere at the finish. It’s a point to point so plan where you are going to park.

Perfect alternative to a track session. No targets as it’s not a flat route, but still an opportunity to run a strong race. You’re running well right now so should take to the start line with confidence. Very best of luck. Go get em Jodie.

Completely honest feedback on this 🙈 I had been out all three nights before this, enjoying the back holiday weekend and hadn’t got in until 2:30am. It wasn’t a fast race coming in under 33mins. It was fairly hot and you know me I’m not a fan of hills. However!!! I actually liked the route! Hilly yes but gradual and the kind I would like to do more of to improve dare I saw 🤣 I went wanting to just complete it and enjoy it and that I did

Really glad you had such a good race. Enjoyment should always be the priority and I’m never going to criticise any of the team for having a great weekend either. Sounds the whole 3 days were great, which is excellent to hear. Well done Jodie.
