Last weeks 5 x 1km session should have given you a good idea of the pace you’re looking to hit here. Any event like this it’s so important to make sure you have that awareness and don’t go off to quick. I see so many people make that mistake. So just keep a check on your early pace, especially the first 500 metres that you are around 4:00-4:05 per km otherwise it’s likely you could struggle in the last km. Better to finish strongly.
