This is a really good week. Hopefully you are looking forward to it with 2 events in the space of 3 days. Pacing here is very important. If you go off too fast, which most do, the last part can be horrible. I think around 7 minute miling (assuming you’re not running into a strong headwind) would be perfect. So keep an eye on the pace in the first few minutes and if there is a 6 in front of the pace, just ease off a little. The time to increase the pace is the last half mile as you are approaching the hand over. But very best of luck. You’re running well again now so confidence should be high.
