Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Edinburgh parkrun should be cool. Permission to run fast.

Livingston Parkrun had too many drinks the day before. So thought reign it back a little bit and try half marathon pace. First mile I felt strong second mile definitely felt worse for ware and could have stopped a few times. Third mile back into the rhythm and picked up the pace. Was by no means a flat course but cool to do a new one in Scotland! If I can do that after quite a few, I feel a Pb may be on the cards soon! First sub 20 Parkrun on a hangover!
