parkrun

LOAD: 30

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)
8 x 100 metre Strides (RPE: 8)

parkrun @ 5km Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

A chance to smash out a high effort parkrun. If you did strides on Thursday at Run Club there is no need to do them again before parkrun. One set this week is all we need. Good luck Sarah.

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

🙄 Just a fraction slow

PACE

Ever so slightly disappointed in this one as again I felt like I was working really hard and it was slightly slower than my last effort around the same parkrun. I tried to reign it in a bit at the start, as this parkrun has a lot of downhill in the first mile so it’s easy to get carried away, but this might have backfired on my overall time.

Well done for putting in that high effort and sometimes progress can take longer than we hope and ultimately there have been some missed session in there. But I’m 100% confident in these plans, the results continue to come for the team and if you can stick with it, it will work. Sometimes if we can use that disappointment to motivate ourselves and kick on then it can be useful. But really well done Sarah for working hard here.
