Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Delighted with my run, stayed neared Kate to ensure that I was putting the effort in, we kept together most of the way together until she started to feel her ankle and told me to push on. Surprised how close I got to sub 30. Sorry forgot to do the Strides, I can do them in the morning with my Warm Up.

Really strong time again and it highlights that you’re still running close to your best which is great to see. IT’s good to put that extra effort in from time to time and whilst it feels tough in the moment, at the end the sense of pride is well worth it. Great running Mark.
