parkrun

LOAD: 250

15 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

parkrun @ 5km Pace (RPE: 8)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

Been a while since the last quick parkrun. Let’s smash out a speedy one and means you don’t need to long run this week. I’m too kind.

Not a PR pb but a personal PB on strava! You asked and today I delivered woop woop. On a huge high and I know Iv got more in me yet! Got slightly stuck at the start for about the first three quarters of a mile due to the number of people there and not being able to get through the crowds but managed to make up the time. I had 28mins in my head and strava says 28.01. I’m not going to beat myself up over a second especially as it was hot. Thank you for sticking with me through my rough patch. I’m ready for a good summer! 😁

Brilliant, you are very welcome, we all go through sticky spells and that’s when I step in to help. It’s so nice then when you are rewarding with an excellent run like this. I think the new parkrun course is finally 5km, hence why Strava shows a 5k pb but not a parkrun pb. So a superb run and a good sign of what lies ahead. Well done Jodie, thanks for sticking with me too.
