Running with others can reduce perceived effort so parkrun is a good option as an alternative speed session. 10 mins easy WU & CD please.

🙄 Just a fraction slow

Heading over to the Preston park for a hard effort and a crash on the a27 meant we were diverted arrived at Preston park at 8:59, so first mile was warming up! Turned into a progression run and was getting soaked doing it! I could have pushed harder but settled a lot of the time and felt pretty comfortable running a sub 19- which is insane!

Goes to show how far you’ve come to be able to do that time and feel comfortable. You did the right thing in truth given your arrival time. Pushing too hard could have ended in disaster and that’s the last thing we want right now. Well done Jack. We got soaked in Hastings too.
