Robertsbridge Midsummer 10K

LOAD: 41

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10k @ HM Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A new route for 2025 so it’s only 1 lap for the 10k. Quite an undulating course with some trails so likely your pace will be quite a bit slowly than a normal 10k. Good Luck.

A really lovely event on a summers evening. A cracking atmosphere. Not really one to go chasing a time and the hills will naturally make it tough. So work hard up the hills, and focus on your cadence on the flats and downhill. No targets here. Just try and enjoy the event. Very best of luck Sue.

That was hot and tough.Had problems for the first 3 miles with my breathing which meant I had to walk the steep hills. 2nd half felt more relaxed . Was not prepared for so much off road. Did over take to people in the last km so that’s a positive. Pace looks slow but took me 2 or 3 min to get through the narrow start.

That’s never going to be a race to get close to our 10k times, the start, those hills, the heat. But it sounds like you ran a strong race and it’s nice to finish off overtaking people as well. Excellent work Sue.
