Robertsbridge Midsummer 10K

LOAD: 41

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10k @ HM Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A new route for 2025 so it’s only 1 lap for the 10k. Quite an undulating course with some trails so likely your pace will be quite a bit slowly than a normal 10k. Good Luck.

A good race for you as you’re strong up the hills and can keep going whilst others will stop to work. Not a race to go chasing a time though. Just enjoy the evening, the atmosphere and being out running at this time of year. Very best of luck. Perhaps running with Lou is an option?

That start is a nightmare got stuck behind some walkers, put my foot down when we got to the 1st hill, caught up the group containing Lou on a descent she flew past me, I pushed on up the hill past the bridge into the High Street, expecting Lou to catch me up, as there was no sight of her I looped back for the group and we stayed in sight of each other for the remainder of the race, I did not like the off road bit in the 2nd 5K. I was sweating buckets when I finished. RPE 1st Flat – 2nd Hills

Well done Mark. Lovely to see you all running as a group in that 2nd half of the race. That’s good to do that sometimes as we can burn ourselves out if we race hard every single event we do. Hopefully in time they will find a solution to the start of that race, as I really enjoy it, but it does make it a bit silly.
