Robertsbridge Midsummer 10K

LOAD: 41

2km WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 2)

10k @ HM Pace (RPE: 6-9)

2km @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

A new route for 2025 so it’s only 1 lap for the 10k. Quite an undulating course with some trails so likely your pace will be quite a bit slowly than a normal 10k. Good Luck.

Always a lovely evening. Not a quick route so no need to be setting targets or goals here. Just go out and run a strong race, do you best and enjoy the atmosphere. Best of luck Su.

Well there wasn’t much take it easy about that! I highly doubt percentage of anaerobic running time according to Strava. New course was good, no painkillers after problems following Heathfield, so all in all it was ok, and similar time to 2023… they do need to sort that hold up! Good to have Jamie on board ( he hated it 😆😆). Well done to you and team.

Well done Su. I think the team did great. It’s such a nice event from an atmosphere point of view. Given those hills so early in the race it’s always going to be tough but I really enjoyed the new route. A massive improvement. Hopefully this race is here to stay and going forward they will find a solution for the start. Glad you enjoyed it though and worked hard. Perhaps Jamie has discovered he prefers running on the roads 😂
