Hastings Seafront 10K

LOAD: 45

10 Mins WU @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

10k @ 10k Pace (RPE: 6-9)

10 Mins CD @ Easy Pace (RPE: 3)

If the wind is kind, an excellent opportunity to run a 10K PB. Not much else to add. I think we all know this route fairly well, don’t we? 🙄

FEEDBACK

ENJOYMENT

RPE

👊 Nailed my target

PACE

Yep, today was a good day 😊 Not my fastest 10k but really pleased with how it went. Didn’t have a target really but was quietly confident of a reasonable time as I felt happy and comfortable on the start line and settled into a nice comfortable pace quite early on. Really happy to keep pretty even splits throughout used Michelle as a target into second half. I couldn’t get anywhere near her on Battle 10k but caught and passed her on this one. Stride length not brilliant at 0.99m but good cadence of 193 spm average.

Superb cadence that and really pleased you enjoyed this one and felt strong. That’s why sometimes it’s important when things are not going are way just to keep ticking off those sessions and things will change for the better. It’s also good to use others sometimes for motivation. Michelle actually PB’d here as well so it was good you were able to finish ahead of her. Great running Andy and so pleased you had an enjoyable experience.
