Didn’t manage to get this done unfortunately. Did my 10min warm up but didn’t get round to doing this before. Was saying hello to everyone who turned up – see the strava photos! Also at the end there was just so much going on. Sorry I missed this one but hopefully the fast parkrun makes up for it?!

I totally understand. Especially given the circumstances and the demand on your attention. I’ve had this before at my local parkrun and lots of my runners are there and want to chat. A good tip, on race days, is find somewhere quiet away from the chaos where you can be uninterrupted. But I appreciate on this occasion, which was a special parkrun for you, there were more important things than strides. And yes the parkrun definitely makes up for it.
