Another excellent week Lou. Well done. Progress is always quite slow, if done right. Those that make quick gains are probably the ones which get injured every few months and then have to stop, and work their way back to fitness again.

Given where you’re at right now, a spring marathon would be a possibility, but I’d be inclined to stick with a decent half, maybe sandwiched with a few shorter distance races, so we can nail that quality. Then look to add the distance, perhaps for an Autumn marathon? I think that would most likely bring you the best results and keep the training varied too.
