Plan 1 – Week 15

  • Oct 13-19

Game of two halves this week πŸ˜‚

Did the intervals and a long run – felt like I needed to push hard to make up for missing two races so although long run easy pace I did forget how hilly the woods route is and ended up doing nearly 600m climb, felt OK on day if a bit hill rusty, but pretty drained after…

Time/events/drained climbing legs meant missed 40 easy and a full s&c (i always do bits through the week tho anyway) but not beating myself up, knew this week might be shaky.

Feeling fresher and good about next week’s training πŸ’ͺ

Is there still a track session Tue am, might be good to do those intervals if I can just run round outside?

No injury issues

COACH

The positive about this week is that you managed to complete the two main sessions and that’s a good approach on a week that’s not always achievable. Get the important sessions done and that will ensure your fitness doesn’t drop off at all. Yes there is Tuesday track at 10am. You could always join in with the group and do the same session with them if you want. It’s the same training points. I’ve set myself back a few weeks by doing too much too soon after my marathon so sadly won’t be there this week, but a few of the others should be. Well done Victoria.
